COMMENTS: Sam is one of the top national punting prospects in his class. In August 2015, he earned the coveted #1 spot in our Fab 50 National Rankings. He has shown the intangibles to be an immediate starter at the Division 1 level. Sam attended our camps in Arizona and Ohio in July 2015 where he demonstrated exceptional hang time, consistency, handle times, and the ability to compete under pressure. He also has shown proficiency in Australian rollout and pooch punts after spending time with Nathan Chapman (ProKick Australia). Other punters may have more raw power, but few can match Sam’s combination of consistency and strength. He has the ability to kick at a high level, but has the highest upside as a punter.
